State Bank Security Policy
|
Community
State Bank uses a combination of security procedures and systems
to protect data related to its customers and their use of online
banking services. Our system features a password-controlled system
entry, a VeriSign-issued Digital ID from United Financial Services
(UFS) for the Bank's server, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol
for data encryption, and firewalls to regulate the flow of data.
We are committed to working with you to make your online experience
safe and secure.

| CommunityStateBank.net
(Online Banking) is a VeriSign Secure Site
We
know that Security is a primary concern of our online customers.
That's why we have registered our secure Web site with VeriSign.
VeriSign helps to ensure the authenticity of our Web site. At any
time within our site, we encourage you to "click" on the
VeriSign icon shown in the footer of each page. This will enable
you to verify that the information is consistent with our Web site
address. Upon verifying that the information is correct, you may
submit credit card and other sensitive data, with the knowledge
that:
This
site has a VeriSign Secure Server ID.
VeriSign has verified the organizational name and that UFS and Community
State Bank have the proof of right to use it.
This site legitimately runs under the auspices of Community State
Bank. Customer information is sent over the Internet by means of
advanced encryption technology, protecting your communications from
unauthorized disclosure.

| Secure
Access and Verification of User Authenticity
In
order to access our Online Banking service, a user must enter a
unique Access ID (User Name) and Password. Our system allows three
(3) invalid sign-on attempts before preventing a potential user
from further login attempts. After three unsuccessful sign-on attempts,
the system may lock the user out for an hour. Continued unsuccessful
logins may require the Community State Bank to issue a replacement
Access ID and Password.
Some
browser software may store User Names and Password to make it easier
when you revisit a website. For security reasons, you must disable
this feature in your browser. Check your browser Help screen for
more information on this feature. Please note that, if you enable
this feature, others may be able to access your account without
your knowledge or authorization.
Secure Data Transfer
Once
the server session is established, the user and the server are in
a secure environment. Because the server has been certified as a
128-bit secure server by VeriSign, all customer information traveling
between the user and the server is encrypted with Secure Sockets
Layer (SSL) protocol.
Display of Information
Your
Password will not be displayed on your computer screen or, after
the initial registration, in any form of correspondence with Community
State Bank.
Timer
Our
Internet banking system has a built-in timer that will terminate
your session if you are not actively using the system.

| Network
Security and Monitoring
Electronic
requests received over the Internet by Community State Bank are
subject to monitoring and validation to help ensure their authenticity
and appropriateness.
Electronic
requests are filtered through a combination of computer hardware
and software designed to protect against inappropriate requests.
This is accomplished by filtering all Internet traffic, and only
allowing the traffic that is necessary to send acceptable data requests,
such as retrieving web pages or sending inquiries, to the Bank's
servers. We also monitor Internet traffic for suspicious or potentially
harmful activity, and take appropriate actions to guard against
such traffic.
We
take these measures to help ensure that only authorized users are
permitted access to the Bank's servers, and that such users are
able to perform only appropriate functions.

| E-Mail
Regular,
non-encrypted Internet e-mail may not be secure. For security reasons,
we recommend that you use e-mail only for general inquiries that
do not involve sensitive or confidential information. If you are
uncertain about the security of e-mail or the confidentiality of
any message, you can contact us by phone at (262) 878-3763, by mail
at Community State Bank, attn: Customer Service Department, 1500
Main Street, Union Grove, WI 53182, or by visiting one of our offices.

| Linked
Sites
We
sometimes link other sites to this site. If you leave our website
through such a link, you may not be subject to the security measures
described above.
|
 |
| Your
Browser's Security
We
require the use of a secure browser with 128-bit encryption to access
account information and perform transactions. Microsoft® Internet
Explorer, Netscape Navigator®, and Netscape Communicator are
all secure browsers. However, the 128-bit encryption is an optional
feature and may not be available outside of the United States and
Canada.
Since
128-bit encryption is optional for some versions of Microsoft and
Netscape Internet browsers, you should check your browser for its
encryption level. If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer version
4.0 or above, you may check to determine if your browser has 128-bit
encryption by clicking on Help and About in your browser's menu.
If
your browser does not meet the 128-bit encryption security requirements
of Community State Bank, you may click on one of the following links
to download the required components (for Microsoft Internet Explorer)
or an upgraded browser (for Netscape Navigator).
Microsoft
Internet Explorer/Netscape Navigator
Remember
that once you've downloaded the proper software, you must install
it on your computer. Follow the browser manufacturer's instructions
that appear on your screen.
Secure
browsers employ secure sockets layer (SSL) technology to communicate
with servers. This technology encrypts - or scrambles - your account
information so it's almost impossible for anyone other than the
Bank to read it.
You
can identify that your online information is encrypted in Netscape
if the small key or lock at the bottom, left-hand corner of your
screen is unbroken. If you are using a Microsoft browser, you will
see a lock appear during an encrypted session.

| Your
Responsibility
While
Community State Bank takes reasonable action to protect the confidentiality
of your online information, we can't do it alone. You also share
in the responsibility for the security of your account information
and should always follow the recommendations listed below.
•
Never
reveal your login Password to anyone - ever! You are the only one
who should know your Password. Community State Bank generates a
password from your Dial Direct (telephone account access system)
or, if you do not have a Dial Direct password, uses the last four
digits of your Social Security Number.
•
We require
that you change your Password after your first logon, and recommend
that you change your Password at regular intervals. While we will
make every reasonable effort to maintain the privacy and security
of your account information, we cannot be responsible for the confidentiality
of your Password once you have established it. No employee of Community
State Bank is authorized to contact you and ask for your identification
and password.
•
Don't
leave your PC while you are logged in to the online banking system.
•
Use the
Logout button to leave the service when you finish your online banking
session, before visiting other Web sites.
•
Clear
your browser's cache in order to remove copies of web pages that
may have been stored temporarily on your system if other people
have access to your PC. Refer to your browser's "Help"
file for instructions on clearing your cache.
•
Change
your Password immediately online if you suspect that someone knows
your Password. Simply log in using your Access ID and Password.
Once you are logged in, go to the Options tab at the top and click
on the link that reads "Change Password". This will allow
you to designate a new Password. You will then be asked to sign
on again. Always keep in mind that you should NEVER share your password
with anyone.

 |
| Changes
We
may add to, delete from, or otherwise change the terms of our security
policies and procedures from time to time. We may notify you of
the changes by mail, e-mail, or by posting a modified Policy on
our web site. Your continued use of this site or any Online service
following such notification will constitute your acceptance of the
revised Policy. Accordingly, please check this site regularly for
revisions.
