CSB eStatements Frequently Asked Questions

Customers can now receive their monthly statements electronically. Typically, eStatements are available three to four days earlier than mailed paper statements. Please read the Frequently Asked Questions below about e-Statements, before calling and registering.

What are eStatements?
eStatements are account statements and images of cleared checks that are accessed through a secure Online Banking website, where customers can view, print or save the statements. eStatements look exactly like paper statements.

Is there a fee for this service?
There is no charge for eStatements.

Is the statement cycle for eStatements the same as it is for paper statements?
Email statements will be delivered at the end of each month. Your first statement will arrive on the first business day of the next month. You may receive a final paper statement in the mail the first month with your first eStatement containing a partial month of account activity.

How do I sign up for eStatements?
To sign up for this service, simply log on to Online Banking and select the eStatement Enrollment button.

If I sign up for eStatements, will I continue to receive a statement copy via U.S. mail?
No. You will not receive a mailed paper statement unless you cancel your registration for eStatements.

Will I be notified when my eStatement is available?
Yes, when your statement is ready, you will receive an e-mail message at the address you specified when you registered.

Can I have my eStatement e-mail notification sent to more than one e-mail address?
No, we can only send your eStatement notification to one e-mail address.

How do I notify Community State Bank of a new e-mail address?
Once signed into Online Banking, select the "eStatement changes" button. Complete the eStatement Maintenance Form including the top section which allows you to select the radio button labeled "Change email address". When you are finished, click Submit.

How do I receive my eStatement?
You will receive an e-mail notifying you that your statement is ready. The e-mail will contain a hyperlink to the Online Banking log on screen. You can also access your statement from this web site, using the "Log on to eStatements" link.

Will my eStatement be available online if for some reason I did not receive my
e-mail notification?

If your email notification was undeliverable, your current statement will still be available online. Simply access the Log on to eStatements on the eStatements page.

Do I need software to view my eStatement online?
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view your eStatement. If you do not have Acrobat Reader, you can download it once you have logged into your eStatement account.

How do I print my eStatement?
By using the Adobe Acrobat Reader toolbar, press the printer icon. You can either print the entire statement or just a particular page.

NOTE: We have experienced an issue with Adobe Acrobat Reader 6 not printing the statement when launched within certain Internet browsers. To resolve this issue, we recommend you save the file to your hard drive first then launch it independently from your Internet browser. Upgrading to Acrobat Reader 7 will also resolve this issue.

.How do I save my eStatement?
Using the Adobe Acrobat Reader toolbar, press the diskette icon.

How many months of statements are available via eStatements?
Your statements will be available on the eStatement site for up to 18 months after you enroll for the service.

Is my eStatement secure and safe?
Yes, the eStatements system uses state-of-the-art, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology to protect the transmission of data. SSL allows software to communicate with Web servers in a secure, encrypted manner. The eStatements server resides behind firewalls, which block unwanted access.

What if I want to cancel eStatements?
You can switch back to the paper version of your statement at any time. To cancel eStatements, you may 1) Log into CSB Online Banking and click on the eStatement changes button or 2) notify us in writing by sending written notice to: eStatement Services, Community State Bank, 1500 Main Street, Union Grove, WI 53182. It may take until the next statement cycle from receipt of your written notice of cancellation for you to receive your next monthly printed mailed statement, with all subsequent printed and mailed statements arriving monthly thereafter.
